I was initially a bit disappointed that the salesperson i had been texting,  and let him know when we would be in, was not in when we showed up. However,  the young man we did end up working with was very polite,  and helpful.  We did get a great deal on our 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander.  They gave us a fair trade in price and finance person (sorry I forget her name) did a great job and got us a good interest rate. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well.  We drove an hour to El Paso,  it was worth the drive for the deal we got in my opinion.

The service "Dream Team"! The team of Rick, Brandon, and Taylor really helped me out of a very difficult situation. I went duck hunting with some buddies to Saskatchewan (2300 miles from home).
On the way home on a Thursday morning (after driving 25 hours straight at that time), we ran into some pretty severe engine trouble with my 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, with a Duramax engine.
We initially stopped at a Chevy dealership somewhere near Napierville or Rockford, IL. The guys running to service department there could not have cared less about the issue, and told me it might be the following week before they would even look at the truck.
So, we ventured on, with a "countdown to shutdown" message on the dashboard, as we needed to get to Indianapolis, or we would lose our booked hotel.
The countdown had reached a critical stage, leaving us 15 miles before the truck would enter "limp mode". I told my passenger that we needed to get off at the next exit to prepare for the possibility of being stranded on the highway.
As I took the exit, I looked to my left, and saw McGrath Highway Chevrolet, and said "We're stopping here, to see if we get lucky".
Boy, did we ever get lucky!
The first person I run into is Rick, who also happens to be a duck hunter. Taylor is listening to our conversation, and instantly also knows the issue.
Then, Brandon walks up and says, "I know you guys are in a jam, and I'm going to do whatever I can to get you back on the road."
The work started immediately. At this point, my buddy and I had been on the road well over 25 hours.
Brandon worked his tail off to get us on the road, and ultimately told us he couldn't solve the issue that day, after working on the truck for 5 1/2 hours.
He then drove us to obtain a rental car, and waited to guide us back to the dealership. We couldn't rent a vehicle large enough to carry all of our gear, but he stayed until we could load as much as we could, into the other vehicle.
Rick, Brandon, and Taylor assured us the truck would be secured in the service department every night, to protect the remaining gear.
We continued on our way, eventually completing the 800 miles remaining on our trip, safely.
Rick kept me informed of what was going on with the vehicle. Brandon stayed after the solution, until he found it.
Rick calls me on a Monday afternoon, and says the truck is ready.
Tuesday morning, I'm on an airplane, on the way to El Paso, IL.
Rick makes arrangements to have Joe in their shop, pick me up at the airport. Joe was there, right on time, and even brought me a cold bottle of water! (Also a great guy, which is a common theme with this dealership)
I showed up at the shop, and could not thank them enough, and insisted on taking the photo shown in this post.
The people at this dealership were the friendliest I've ever encountered.
It was a great feeling to know how much they cared. It's one thing to talk about how much you like your customers, but it's entirely different thing to actually "Walk the Talk", and live up to that mantra.
This is a much longer story than anyone wants to read.
But, I wanted to make sure that Rick, Brandon, and Taylor were recognized for the "extra mile" they went to get us home safely, and repaired the vehicle to get me home.
I cannot thank them enough for going the extra mile for an old duck hunter that needed some help.
They could have taken advantage of me, as I was at their mercy. But, they treated me with the same care that I hope to always give to other people.
They are great at their jobs, but they are better human beings! They are a credit to the dealership and their community.
