I had been researching Honda Pilots since October 2023. Finally deciding on which pilot I wanted became a difficult task in finding. After locating the one at Vann York Honda before coming to an agreement, unfortunately it sold. They were able to find the same vehicle the next day! Just bought a 2024 Honda Pilot from Van York Honda. I checked six different dealerships for the Honda Pilot model I wanted for my wife. While I could find the model I wanted all over, I could not find a dealer willing to be reasonable on price or terms.  Most added junk fees and forced added products I did not want or need.  Service ranged from indifferent to rude.  Not so with Doug Gillespie at Van York Honda.  EVERY interaction with him was positive and professional.  He provided me with a fair price for the vehicle I wanted with no junk fees or extra costs.  I worked with him by phone, text and email.  The total time I spent on getting information, making a deal, putting a down payment on the vehicle and closing the deal by phone was about one hour! Unheard of in this business.  AND he arranged to have the vehicle delivered to my door in Virginia the NEXT DAY (240 miles away)!

Doug far exceeded my expectations for a Honda sales rep.  Really, any new car sales rep.  He really seemed to want to help me get the SUV I wanted for what I wanted to pay.  Most new car purchase experiences are adversarial and negative. This new car purchase experience was my best EVER in over 38 years of buying cars.  Easy, fast, pleasant.

Can't say enough about Doug. Would buy my next car from him for sure.  Recommend him and Van York Honda 100%.
