My husband & I were at Toyota Boerne for most of the day on Saturday. Not only did we walk out the a brand new Tundra but peace of mind that the staff had/ has our best interest at heart. Everyone was extremely kind & understanding. Our 9 year old was out front playing with his RC car & no one was upset. They were constantly asking us if we needed anything. I saw a vehicle online and replied to the post since I was interested in the vehicle and what Toyota of Boerne could do for me I went in and was quickly met by the salesman who I was messaging on social media and quickly got everything started as we were starting up I noticed to my left hand on the showroom floor was like the vehicle I was looking into (Toyota Camry) this was a blacked out SE 2024 with only 13 miles my salesman made it happen!!!! BIG SHOUT OUT TO MARK HERNANDEZ!!! Thank you sir for doing your absolute best and putting me in a position of being a proud owner of a Brand new Toyota Camry SE 2024 I’m definitely in love with this vehicle for the right price! Mark definitely had the patience and determination to answer all my questions very cool person to work with! Also the management team was very welcoming and friendly altogether it was a great experience also had a big amount of help from the finance department Mr.Socrates Lopez he was really helpful to me. The staff were very friendly and it is a very nice facility. However, it was over 2 hours to buy a car, and we almost instantly knew what to purchase.
We went on a Saturday at the end of the month and found a good deal on the car we wanted (Red tag sale). We waited about 5-10 minutes for a sales person. We did a quick test drive (5-10 min) and said we wanted to purchase. The actual price was almost $5K more than the red tag price because of all the dealer extras (1.5k) plus the documentation/taxes. We waiting another 10 minutes or to get a desk to do the initial paperwork. Our sales person Robert was great and just walked back to his desk and printed the paperwork to help expedite the paperwork.
Then we waited about 90 minutes for the financal department to get our paperwork. Paperwork that took less than 20 minutes. During this wait we asked how long because we wanted to get lunch but no one could give any kind of estimate. Robert was great and brought chips and popcorn for us because the wait was so long.
Bottom line is if you're planning to go on a busy Saturday plan on spending half the day there. Would recommend to the dealership to 1) possibly cross training different areas to also do finance to assist with backlog (90 minutes is sort of outrageous) and maybe have tablets so sales people are not waiting for computer resources.
